Finish levels for StereoLithography parts.

Level 1 - Removal of build support structures:

Typically used by customers wishing to do any or all finish work themselves.

Level 2 - Removal of build support structures and light sanding with 220g sandpaper to remove rough flash and burrs:

Typically used for design reviews, design verification, assembly verification and conceptual models; build layer lines, stair-steps and facets are visible.

Level 3 - Sandblast:

Typically used for design reviews and assembly verification where a higher degree of fit and part finish is desired: geometry fit checks, form and function, some sand casting, pilot builds, and manufacturing engineering fixturing.

Stereolithography Prototypes Level 4 - All surfaces are sanded to presentation level:

Typically used for marketing presentation, focus group studies, investment casting, precision sand casting, rubber mold masters, and spray metal tooling masters.

Level 5 - Painted:

Customer may call out any color match requirement.

A single model may be ordered with different levels of finishing depending on customer requirements
